General purpose

Vydyne general-purpose resins are non-reinforced nylon 66 and 66/6 nylon co-polymers. Their exemplary performance in extremely demanding applications has been proven across a wide range of industries.

These neat resins demonstrate all the inherent advances of nylon 66, including good abrasion resistance, high melting point, and excellent chemical resistance to most oils and greases. Their fast cycling, great mold release, and predictable shrinkage make them very cost effective choices in your metal replacement and other engineered applications.

Compounded

Vydyne compounded resins are engineering thermoplastics based on unique reinforced nylon systems, including glass-filled, mineral-filled, glass/mineral-filled, and impact-modified products.

While each Vydyne nylon product has been optimized for one or more specific properties, they all deliver these important performance characteristics: rigidity, high tensile strength, good resistance to creep under load, high heat distortion temperature, and the inherent chemical resistance of nylon 66.

Vydyne compounded resins are engineered to perform in the most demanding applications, while providing consistent processing and fast cycle times.

Extrusion

Vydyne extrusion-grade resins are medium- to high- molecular weight polyamide 66 and 66/6 co-polymers. They are engineered to offer special attributes not found in typical nylon 66 product offerings.

They are designed for diverse applications and perform extremely well in your applications that require fiber and monofilament spinning, cast and blown film, and profile extrusion. Vydyne 66/6 copolymers also give you softer films with improved clarity.

Thin films and monofilaments require a higher level of performance, and Vydyne delivers.

Ignition resistant

Vydyne ignition-resistant resins can really take the heat.

Available to you in both general-purpose and compounded grades, these nylon resins all meet the demanding UL94V-0 standards established by Underwriter's Laboratories (UL). The product line also meets the UL95-5VA standard in thinner sections.
